Dear Tribe Members,

I am Jimit Zaveri. I am a Research Analysts and Investor who identifies companies for an investment. Here, I am describing my journey to become a Research Analyst and Investor from a person who didn’t even know anything about “STOCK MARKET”.

My actual journey related to stock market started at 2008 crash. At that time every newspaper headlines on SENSEX (I generally not read newspapers but those days I attracted to read and that contributed to constructing my career).

After that falls, stock market again raises as every good news started. Actually, I didn’t know anything about stock market so I got excited for making money by buying at low and selling at high. 🙂

These all made me more curious and I started to ask questions at my college for learning about the stock market. At that time, one of my senior at college Mr. Divyakant Pandya help to me for explaining related to stock market and after that one of the faculty Dr. Hurmaz Patel Sir who trades in stock markets used to study charts and make decisions. he helps me to learn about it.

But all those learning made me more curious about the stock market. And by coincidence, I met Mr. Aditya Srinivas Sir (Chief Operating Officer (COO) at BSE Sensex), who taught me about the stock market, fundamental analysis, technical analysis, macro factor; and these all learning created base for my career and I decided to build my career to the stock market.

So from all above concepts, Technical analysis attracted me and I started analyses of charts and buy-sell in Dalal street game. Also got right many a time, don’t know that was skill or luck. 🙂

With this learning, I moved to MBA college where I met impressive, genuine and supportive personality Dr. Prashant Joshi Sir, who supported me a lot to shaped my decision of build career to the stock market. (As Prashant sir always supported me at my personal level and many of my worst situation where I needed genuine support. I can’t able to describe support in words over here.)

During my MBA time, I met Tejasbhai (writer of Sensible Investing) and Sahilbhai. Sahilbhai inspired me to write my analysis on the blog and I started to post my analysis. But with all efforts, I got frustrated when not got any job in the research field. At that worst time, Pankesh Uncle, Dilip Sir, Abhishekbhai, Tejasbhai, Sahilbhai help me for the job at Jainam Wealth as a fundamental research executive (I want to build a career as a technical analyst but got a job as a fundamental analyst).

I was faced many problems due to lack of practical knowledge aspects regarding fundamental analysis and also fight in my mind for selecting one from fundamental analysis and technical analysis. During those difficult time, Tejasbhai told me about Neeraj Marathe Sir (My real GURU) that how sir select stocks, looking at business, etc.; Mr. Vishal Khandelwal Sir and Prof. Sanjay Bakshi Sir so I started reading Thoughts on thoughts, Safal Niveshak and Fundoo Professor that help me to develop slowly my interest towards fundamental analysis. And I also come to know about Mr. Warren Buffett and reading about Mr. Buffett, brings interest in the investment field.

But my real interest develops, when I first time met Neeraj Marathe Sir and attended the seminar of Neeraj Sir (and that mainly because of considering as we take a stake in business & Philosophy of sir). And that was the turning point for me and I decided to build the career as a fundamental analyst and investor. And from that time, I not fall under any dilemma and started building my knowledge.

In my journey to build strong knowledge towards fundamental analysis, Tejasbhai, Neeraj Sir, Vishal Sir and Sanjay Bakshi Sir helps me a lot and only because of them I reach my current level of wisdom.
